How to submit
A walk-through of the online submission form, and what happens after you press submit.

This page explains how to send us your manuscript using the online form, what each field means, and what happens next. The form takes about 15 minutes if your documents are ready.
Before you start
Have these ready (see Before you submit):
- your manuscript as a .docx or PDF file, up to 20 MB
- your synopsis, 500 to 1,000 words
- your bio, 100 to 150 words
- your word count
Filling in the form
| Field | What to enter |

| Name | Your full name. If you write under a pen name, add it in brackets. |
| An address you check regularly. We'll send all updates here. | |
| Phone | Include the country code, for example +91. We'll only call if we want to discuss an offer. |
| Book title | The working title. It's fine if it might change. |
| Genre | The closest match from our list. |
| Language | The language the manuscript is written in. |
| Word count | Total words, rounded to the nearest 1,000. For poetry, enter the approximate total. |
| Synopsis | Paste your synopsis. A counter shows how many words you've written. |
| Short bio | Paste your bio. |
| Manuscript | Upload your file. Only .docx or PDF, up to 20 MB. |
| How did you hear about us? | Optional, but it helps us. |
| Consent | Confirm that you agree to our privacy policy, which explains how we store your manuscript and personal details. |
If something is missing or in the wrong format, the form shows a message next to the field. Fix it and submit again.
What happens next
Confirmation
When you submit, you'll see a confirmation on screen. An acknowledgement email with your submission details follows.
First read
An editor reads your synopsis, bio and the opening chapters.
Full read
If the opening works for us, we read the whole manuscript. We may contact you at this stage to ask whether it's still available.
Decision
We'll email you with our decision within 8 to 12 weeks of your submission. See Response times.
Your manuscript is private
Your manuscript is stored securely and only our editorial staff can read it. We never share it outside the editorial team without your permission. Read our privacy policy for details.
Having trouble?
If the form won't accept your file, check that it's a .docx or PDF under 20 MB. If you still have problems, email submissions@kshiradprakashan.com with your name and book title. Please don't attach the manuscript unless we ask for it.
