1. About us

2. Using the site

• You must be at least 18, or use the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
• You agree to give accurate information when placing an order or creating an account, and to keep your login details private.
• You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.

3. Products and prices

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
• We try to describe books and show covers accurately, but printed colours may differ slightly from what you see on screen.
• We may change prices or withdraw products at any time. The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay.
• If a product was listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock or we suspect fraud; if we do, we refund any amount already paid.

5. Shipping, cancellations and refunds

Delivery is covered by our Shipping policy, and cancellations, returns and refunds by our Cancellation and refund policy. Both form part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, cover designs, images, logos and the books themselves, is owned by Kshirad Publication or its authors and licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use or as allowed by law. Press materials on our Press page may be used for editorial coverage.

7. Manuscript submissions

Submitting a manuscript does not create any obligation on either side. You keep all rights in your work. We treat submissions as confidential and use them only to assess them for publication.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kolkata, West Bengal have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

12. Grievances

If you have a complaint, write to us at hello@kshiradprakashan.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
